To be successful as a skilled immigrant to Canada the applicant should be able to satisfy Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) officer that he or she is able to achieve at least 67 points out of 100 from the select set of criteria. The applicant should also have at least one years work experience compatible with Skill Type O, or Skill Level A or B in the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC) list in the last ten years. The employment should be paid and not honorary.

CIC officers will have to be satisfied that the applicant has sufficient funds to help them last the initial six months of transitional life in Canada . Besides this the applicant needs to be of sound health with no major illness and a clean criminal record. The key areas the CIC officer will focus in the assessment will be in the area of Education, Language, Work Experience, Age, Arranged Employment in Canada and Adaptability. Surprisingly not many people realize how easy it is to qualify and submit an application for permanent residence through expert consulting. We do not submit applications that we consider unacceptable by the CIC. However each client is explained in detail the selection process and where the client stands in terms of meeting immigration standards set by CIC.
